Document photocopies should be certified/notarised by a lawyer, public notary, embassy or consulate official, stamped, dated and translated where applicable. The certifier/notary who takes a copy of the original document should certify the copy by writing on the document(s) the words: 'I have seen the original document and this copy is a full and accurate copy of that original.' If a document bears a photograph, it should be added which itself shows a good likeness of the holder.
